Rupavahini chairman resigns

July 30 (AM) Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation Chairman somaratne Dissanayake decided to resign from his post. Reports said that he had taken this decision due to both personal and political reasons. Dissanayake, once an ardent supporter of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, offered his support to common candidate Maithripala Sirisena during the recent Presidential Election.
