Canadian diaspora also back TNA at polls

Aug 7 (CG) The Canadian Tamil Congress (CTC), a leading diaspora group in Canada, said it supports the TNA at the Parliamentary election. Earlier the London based Global Tamil Forum (GTF) had also supported the TNA and had urged Tamils to back the Tamil political party at the polls. India assures solution to fishermen issue Aug 6 (CG) Indian Govt informed Parliament that it is working towards evolving a permanent solution for the Tamil fishermen issue and that the Indian External Affairs Ministry is engaged in discussions with Sri Lanka.
