Intelligence sources have discovered that several underworld criminals, who had fled the country, have returned to the island during the past few days.
They had escaped when the 'white van squad' commenced capturing underworld criminals.
Members of the intelligence division, of the Security Forces, have informed their heads that these criminals who returned to the country are roaming around the homes of several politicians. It is said that a figure of the underworld in Borella, who reigned as the godfather, named Olcott's uncle Pradeep, is also among these criminals. This person named Pradeep, who operated the underworld activities of Olcott, had been hiding in Italy during the recent past.

Most of the underworld criminals, who have returned to the island now, had been in hiding during the past in Italy, France and Dubai.
The information received by the Intelligence Division indicates that, there are several more notorious underworld criminals still hiding in those countries and that they are preparing to return once they receive a guarantee regarding their protection from politicians. 'Kudu Lal', who is currently in England, is also among these persons. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has issued a red notice through Interpol on Kudu Lal in connection with a financial fraud. He is said to be engaged in a dialogue with a politician to get this red notice removed and it is of special significance that he is preparing to contest elections through a main political party at the upcoming elections.
